  • What is the longest-lasting type of non-wood fence?

Aluminum and vinyl fencing are both long-lasting options. They require little to no maintenance and are highly durable if properly installed.

  • What is the longest-lasting type of wood fence?

We recommend pressure-treated posts with cedar panels to give you the most long-lasting wood fence.

  • Can you install a fence on top of my rock wall?

Yes, with our decades of experience, we are pros at installing fences on rock walls and love the way that they look.

  • Do you paint the fence once it’s installed?

No, we do not offer painting services but we are happy to refer you to a local painting contractor we know and trust.

  • Do you do fence repairs?

Yes, Young's Fencing repairs all types of fences.

  • What is the cost of a new fence?

It depends on the size of the job, the terrain of the property and the type of fence material. We can schedule an appointment with our project manager, who will meet with you at your property, measure the area, and discuss the different fence options available. Estimates are always FREE!

  • How do I maintain my fence?

To maintain a vinyl fence, rinse the fence with a regular garden hose every three to five years to prevent mold from growing.

To maintain a wood fence, you can stain or paint it every three to five years. If you choose not to stain or paint it, simply let it naturally gray out. This requires no maintenance at all and give your fence a more natural look.

  • How high does a fence need to be to keep deer out?

We recommend installing at least a 6’ fence to keep out deer. Although, some deer have been known to jump a 6’ fence. We prefer to install 7’to 7 ½ ‘ tall fencing to ensure your yard is safe from deer.

  • What are the rules for fencing in a pool?

We are well-versed in the pool codes for all the local towns we serve. We have relationships with many regional building inspectors and will do the research based on your town to ensure that all codes are met prior to installing a pool fence.
